Technical Requirements

Network & Internet Connection​

Vatom Spaces require a stable Internet Connection and cannot be viewed offline.

Please disable VPNs (Virtual Private Networks) as these can cause issues with audio/video connections.

Supported Devices​

All Desktop & Laptop Computers: Google Chrome browser is currently the only fully supported browser. Others such as Firefox and Edge may work but not all of the features are supported. Incognito Windows may also cause issues. 

iOS Devices (iPhone and iPad): Spaces will work on mobile devices but it may be a less than ideal experience.

Virtual Reality: You can access Spaces in VR by entering the space through the device's web browser.

Unsupported Browsers & Devices​

Safari desktop browser is NOT supported and guests can experience critical issues using Vatom Spaces and Vatom Wallet if using Safari desktop browser. Use Google Chrome on desktop and laptop devices.

Spatial Audio​

  • TCP ports: 443, 8801, 8802, 3478, 5349
  • Destination host: *.xirsys.com, *.vatom.us-east-2.hifinetwork.io, *.vatom.us-west-2.hifinetwork.io
  • Destination IPv4 subnet:  AWS us-east-2, AWS us-west-2
  • Public STUN servers: stun.l.google.com:19302, stun2.l.google.com:19302, stun3.l.google.com:19302, stun4.l.google.com:19302, stun:global.stun.twilio.com:3478?transport=udp

Video & Screen-Sharing​

  • TCP port: 443
  • UDP ports: 3478
  • Destination hosts: *.tokbox.com, *.opentok.com

Additional Privacy & Network Security Software​

Enterprise security software like Zscaler Cloud Security can block Spaces connections and prevent users from connecting to audio, and/or reduce audio quality dramatically. Please have your web security team allow connections to the above servers, ports, and URLs.
