Avatars
Represent yourself with a custom avatar. Each space can have certain avatar systems enabled or disabled, so some avatars available in one space may not be available in another.
Configure your Avatar
Customize Avatar from Landing Page
When visiting a space, you can customize your avatar from the Loading Screen.
Click the Default Avatar to pick an image or customize your avatar character.
Click "Customize Avatar" underneath the avatar image to view available avatar systems.
Customize Avatar in the Space
When in the space, open your profile by clicking your profile image in the bottom-left corner.
Choose "Edit Avatar"
Admin Settings for Avatars
Admins can control which avatar systems are available in the space, set the default avatar system, and choose the ReadyPlayerMe character to use as the default avatar for the space.
Default Avatar Systems
By default, the plugin for Ready Player Me avatars is installed in the space. If you do not want 3D avatars, this plugin can be uninstalled and all users will display as a disc with their profile picture.
If you do not set "Ready Player Me" as the Default Avatar, guests will have the option to choose the Profile Picture Disc as their preferred avatar.
Set Default Avatar for your Space
Set the default avatar system used in the Space. With no default avatar set, guests will enter with the Profile Disc avatar.
When setting the default Ready Player Me avatar, the character design you currently are will become the default entry avatar for all guests. We recommend configuring a "generic" character for guests and new users.
To set the Default Avatar for the space, as an admin, change your avatar to the desired system and design. Open File > Settings > Users > Default Avatar and choose "Use current as default".
Guests can then customize their avatar design through their Profile. The following shows a guest entering when not logged in. They are given the default Ready Player Me avatar and can click the avatar image to open the Ready Player Me customizer.
Custom Avatars (Plugin Development)
Additional avatar systems can be developed and implemented with custom Javascript development. Full developer documentation is available in the Vatom Developer Resources.

Prevent Custom Avatars in your Space
Using Personal Plugins, guests can their own bring custom and unique avatars into the space. If you do not want to allow avatars outside of Ready Player Me characters, you can do so.
Check "Prevent Custom Avatars" in File > Settings > Users
