How do I create a digital object to sell?​

  1. Create an account on Studio.vatom.com
  2. Setup seller account for Stripe Connect and complete KYC
  3. Add a profile
  4. Create a digital object
  5. Distribute the digital object to the Vatom Market

How do I sell a smart digital object?​

Only some objects are able to be sold, and this is the discretion of the creator. If the object does not show the option to "Sell", the creator has disabled this option for this object.

If the object you've recieved has the "Sell" option available, you can list it on the marketplace from your wallet.

  1. Open the object.
  2. Choose the ellipses in the top-right corner to open the actions menu.
  3. Choose "Sell" and follow the instructions.

Who is considered a creator?​

A creator is a user who is creating the digital objects in The Studio Creator Tool. Creators aren't always considered the artist but they are the one that is creating the digital object. If you are not the artist, you need to have IP Rights to the artwork before creating or their work will be removed. 

In addition, creators will be considered the seller once the digital object is distributed to the marketplace. If they do wish to sell on the Vatom Market, creators will be distributed the set royalty % they chose in the digital object creation at the time of a secondary sale.

What are Royalties?​

The creator of the Smart Digital Object can set a fixed royalty on sales of the object. This means whenever the digital object sells the creator takes a cut, including secondary sales.

  • Fixed Royalty: The defined % amount of the total sale that the digital object creator receives.
  • Initial sale – The first time an digital object gets purchased.
  • Secondary Sale – When the first buyer re-sells an digital object on The Vatom Market from the wallet.

Do I Have to Pay Fees to List an NFT on The Vatom Market?​

You will not pay any fees to create your first listing.

Upon the sale of your NFT, the seller (you) will be responsible to pay a 10% service fee to Vatom Inc. as well as a 2.5% transaction fee to Stripe Connect.

The current seller is responsible for paying the service and Stripe Connect transaction fees (whether it is the first or secondary sale). 

If the creator has set an object royalty, they will receive a set percentage of the sale price.

How Do I Withdraw My Funds?​

You will withdraw your funds using Stripe Connect. Upon signing up as a seller in Studio or before reselling NFTs from in the wallet, you will create a Stripe Connect sellers account. To successfully create and list your NFT, resell an NFT or sell a Plugin, you must create this account. This account is where you will be able to cash out your funds (1x per month) and manage your sales. If your expected balance is expected to be over $500.00 and you wish to cash out in a shorter time period, please contact support and we will be happy to help you with that.  You will also be able to view a dashboard with analytics and reports in addition to tax documents. Is explicit and sensitive content allowed on The Vatom Market?​
