Create a Simple NFT

How to Create and "Mint" a Simple NFT in Vatom Studio

Simple NFTs are the most basic form of Media NFT that can include Images or Graphics, Videos, and 3D Objects. Register for a free account and 100 free NFTs now at studio.vatom.com.

 

1. In Vatom Studio, Select "New NFT"

2. Add NFT Details & Media

  1. Title: Name to be displayed for the NFT (max 35 characters)
  2. Description: More information about the NFT and Media (max 110 characters)
  3. Wallet Icon - Small Image (.jpg, .png, .gif less than 250px). Transparency OK.
  4. NFT Media File - Under 25mb, Best around 1-5mb
    1. Image (.jpg or .png)
    2. Video/Audio (.mp4)
    3. 3D Object (.glb or zipped .gltf)
  5. Edition Size: How many editions or copies of this NFT will exist?
  6. Fixed Royalty (%): Percentage to be paid back to the creator on secondary sales. Royalty is not paid on the first sale of the NFT.

Once published as an NFT, the Name, Description, and Category cannot be changed. Please take time to think through these values before minting.

3. Uploading Media

Select Image, 3D Object, or Video to upload your file.

Image .jpg .png .gif
3D Object .glb .gltf  
Video .mp4    

 

While the limit is 200MB, media will need to load in the user's wallet and large files will not load quickly over Mobile Networks. We recommend keeping media files under 25MB, preferably 1MB - 5MB.

Once you're happy with your design, select "Publish NFT"

 

4. Distribute & Sell NFTs

  1. View Design: View and edit the original Design
  2. Availability: Quantity of NFTs available
  3. Marketplace: Sell this NFT on the Vatom Marketplace. Connect Banking with Stripe in Studio Settings to sell on Marketplace.
  4. QR Code: Share NFTs directly with a QR code. Do not share or publish this QR code, there is currently no limit to the number of scans.
  5. Wallet App: (Do Not Modify) 
  6. Distribution History: List of NFT Distributions. 
  7. New Distribution: Distribute NFTs
    1. Simple QR: Create a QR code to distribute NFTs. There is currently no limit to number of scans. 
    2. Send to Email: Send this NFT directly to the email address of a Vatom Wallet
    3. Drop on a Map: Drop NFTs on a real world map to be picked up in AR by users physically nearby to them
    4. Sell on Marketplace: Sell this NFT on the Vatom Marketplace.
