Does Vatom allow physical items to be included in the digital asset sale?
Vatom is happy to facilitate NFT sales that include a physical good or right, but it is the seller’s responsibility to do both:
a.) ensure the legality of that transfer
b.) coordinate with the buyer (through email) in order to ensure the physical items are delivered as expected.
Our involvement in these sales only goes so far as the transfer of the digital asset. Buyers should ensure that there is a way to coordinate with the seller for any off-platform transfers before committing to purchase a digital asset.
Once the sale has been completed, the seller will receive an email with the buyer's address and contact email where they will facilitate the transfer of the physical goods. If the seller does not facilitate communication within 3 weeks since the sale, the seller will be penalized for failing to follow through.
During the checkout process, the buyer has the option to waive the physical item as part of the sale, in which case the seller will receive an email informing them of the buyer's decision.
