What do I do if my ETH transaction failed and why did it happen?
ETH transactions can fail for a number of reasons. Please open Etherscan by selecting the transaction hash from your Metamask wallet to find the error. Unfortunately, users will still be charged gas fees if the transaction fails because gas fees are the fee that is paid to the miner for processing the transaction. Because the transaction is processed through Metamask, it is out of our control so ensure you have enough ETH in your account to cover the gas fees + the cost of the item before submitting your ETH payment. Usually, the gas fees will not be as much as they are estimated and the remaining amount of gas fees will be returned to your wallet after the transaction.
