Private Event Taking Place

If you see the error "Private Event is Taking Place" when trying to enter a space, this means that an Event has been scheduled in the space with a layer of security (a password or guest list). 

In order to enter the space during a scheduled event time, you must enter through the private Event URL. 

Event URLs (also called "Gather" URLs) look something like https://spaces.vatom.com/gather/123456789

I'm an Admin of the Space

When an event is Live, Admins also must enter through the Event URL. Once you have entered through the Event URL once, you can return by typing the normal Space URL for the duration of the event. 

If you are the admin of a space and are seeing this error, check the account you are logged in as by clicking the profile circle in the top-right. The login badge should say "Entering as:" and your name. 

Choose "Login" to log into your Administrator account.
