The Group Garden plugin is only available in Enterprise Plans and for Special Events. Please contact us to add this plugin to your space(s).
With the Group Garden plugin, you can create an interactive garden where guests can plant their Vatom NFTs into the metaverse Space.
Create a "Mound", "Plot" or "Base" for your items to be planted on. This object will have the "plant" objects attached and placed directly on top.

Set up Group Garden Plugin
1. Start by installing the "Group Garden" plugin. If this plugin is not available in the Plugin Marketplace, please reach out to your Vatom representative to check availability.
With the Group Garden plugin installed, choose your planting "mound" and in it's Object Properties > Components, and add the "Group Garden" component.
With the component added to the mound, there is an option to choose a Campaign.
Without a campaignID, any vatoms can be planted on this object. Entering a specific campaignID restricts the objects able to be planted to the specific objects within the Vatom Studio campaign.
Creating a Campaign in Vatom Studio
1. Create Vatom Designs for each of your 3d "Plants" or models, with the 3D Model as the Design's Main Asset. It can be a Basic 3D Object, Simple NFT, Collectable, or any other Vatom Design with a 3D Object as the Main Asset.
2. Create a Campaign and add your objects.
3. Enable "Map" Behavior. All other behaviors are optional and based on the experience you are trying to create.
Once your campaign is created, it must be pushed to TEST or LIVE in order to distribute your objects.
When in TEST mode, a different TestID is used for the campaign, and is located on the Campaign Overview page, underneath the Wallet Link (pictured below). The LIVE campaign link when the campaign is pushed live, is code located after /campaigns/ or campaign= in the main URL or wallet link.
Copy this code into the Planting Garden Component to restrict the items able to be planted.
Creating Objects for the Planting Garden
When designing objects for the garden, the "Mound" or object in Spaces that things will be planted onto, and the plant itself, should both be oriented around the 0,0,0 coordinate. When an object is "planted" it is dropped on the exact location as the mound it is being planted on. In Blender, be sure to "Apply All Transformations" for your objects so they scale appropriately.
You can see this below with the Mound and the Sunflower in this Blender viewport, they are both oriented at the scene centerpoint, and this is how they will appear together when "planted" in spaces. Because the plants' roots are located underneath the centerpoint, they will be underneath the mound when planted.
A reminder, Vatom uses "Metaverse Meters" for scale, the default avatar is 1 meter wide and 2 meters tall. Please scale your objects appropriately when creating them.
